WHAT IS THE FLOWER STAND?
The Wildflower Nation Flower Stand is a simple, community-based marketplace that supports local makers, growers, and service providers. It was created as a natural offshoot of the Wildflower Nation initiative — a non-commercial movement focused on planting seeds of hope, action, and enterprise.The Flower Stand gives small businesses, home-based sellers, and grassroots projects a space to list themselves so that buyers can find and support them directly. Some sellers started through Wildflower Nation’s Local Action Groups and Communities, while others already run small enterprises that share our values including those of dignity, opportunity, and enterprise.This isn’t an online store. It’s a direct link between people — buyers connect straight with sellers through easy-to-use listings. Every purchase helps build local futures and strengthens South African communities.
Who CAN SELL?
✅ Graduates of Wildflower Nation initiatives who have established products or services.
✅ Local, cottage-style businesses and home-based entrepreneurs.
✅ Community projects offering surplus goods or income-generating services.
✅ Youth and women-led micro-enterprises.
✅ Skills-based service providers operating locally.
✅ Environmentally conscious businesses promoting recycling, greening, or sustainability.
✅ Partner organisations (schools, NGOs, faith groups) with products or services that directly fund or support local initiatives.
WHO CAN'T SELL?
🚫 Large commercial businesses or resellers of mass-produced goods.
🚫 Businesses without a clear community development focus or local benefit.
🚫 Activities or products that contradict the values of respect, dignity, non-partisanship, and positive community growth.
What can you sell?
✅ Locally made, grown, or created products (e.g. crafts, baked goods, produce, handmade items).
✅ Community services (e.g. catering, basic home repairs, gardening).
✅ Skills-based offerings (e.g. tutoring, sewing, childminding).
All goods and services must reflect fair pricing, honesty, and quality.
What can't you sell?
🚫 Mass-produced goods, resale of commercial products, or dropshipping.
🚫 Unlicensed or unregulated services (e.g. unverified health products).
🚫 Anything that promotes violence, discrimination, politics, or misinformation.
🚫 Activities that do not respect the values of Wildflower Nation.
How Does it Work?
✅ Sellers must list a brief description, clear pricing, and direct contact details (WhatsApp number, phone, or email).
✅ The Flower Shop is a listing platform only — Wildflower Nation does not facilitate transactions and takes no commission.
✅ Sellers are responsible for delivery/collection arrangements and customer communication.
✅ Sellers are expected to respect buyers, offer honest dealings, and contribute to positive community growth.
✅ Participation in the Flower Shop is free of charge, but listings are curated to uphold the purpose of Wildflower Nation — growing Hope, Action, and Enterprise across communities.
